Lilac Cottage offers a stylish & open plan home from home, perfect for a get together with friends and family.
Close to the Norfolk Broads, hire a day boat from Potter Heigham, head to Hickling Broad considered a haven for wildlife or to Ludham past St Bennets Abbey, a medieval monastery.
There's an abundance of local pubs offering great food, to list a few: The Lion (Thurne), Kings Arms (Fleggburgh) or Kings Head Hotel (Filby). Alternatively, hire a private chef & relax.
The property was renovated in 2022 with comfort and style in mind, sleeping 14 guests (5 double, 2 single & one sofa bed).
Downstairs:
There’s a bright & airy open plan living area & kitchen, with two sofas (one is a sofa bed) & a coffee table in the living area along with a breakfast bar & two stools facing the kitchen. Please note, the woodburner cannot be used. There's a smart TV from which you will need to use your own log ins.
There are two double bedrooms, each with an en-suite. A Separate WC along with a dining room, the dining table seats 12 comfortably & can accommodate 14 if required.
Upstairs:
There are 4 bedrooms; 1 has a king size bed, 2 have double beds & 1 has two single beds. There’s a family bathroom & the master bedroom (with the kingsize bed) has an en-suite.
Outside:
From the main road, you make your way down the long private drive bordered by trees, there’s ample parking for multiple cars outside the front of the property. To the left around the back, there’s a patio behind the property, this outside of one of the bedrooms. To the right, there’s an undercover group dining area, a BBQ is provided in the warmer months (please bring your own charcoal).
You have access to the entire property inside and outside. There is 1 flight of stairs.
The cleaning fee covers the preparation of the home for your stay.
We do have several rules to make sure we keep our properties in the best condition for your arrival -

5. No candles
Quiet house - 10pm-8am
CCTV is used for outside of the property.
