"The trip was due to a family bereavement, so unhappy circumstances to start with. However, the New Mill was warm and welcoming, and the room was comfortable (woken by the alarm, which indicated i slept well). View out the window was well worth the stay, listening to water is very soothing although i didn't realise beforehand!. Only a slight complaint, the TVs weren't working on arrival which was an issue as my 87 year old father suffers from insomnia so it was disappointing that reception didnt...
