"Good hotel, convenient; very kind friendly staff. It is dated so we did not have hot water first night. The rooms decor is old but okay. Spacious enough. The AC does not turn on because it is cooler times, no choice but need to open the semi balcony door for cool air / circulation however bugs will come in. Had to clip the curtain together with hair clip and spray curtain with bug spray to prevent bugs from entering. Have to close doors by dawn to stop ferry noises, or mum the public’s chit...

"We arrived in the village and the barman of the main bar did not know the street of such a little village. not a good sign...after 45mn we found the place next to a 3 star hotel. and that's when we found out we could not access the room by car!! the road is too narrow and steep!!! what to do with so much luggage and 2 kids!!??"

"Great hotel located next to the town square. Easy access to everything, including the ferry to take you around the Lake. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was big and very clean with a small balcony overlooking the Lake. A good shower and air con. Hotel has a lift which is a bonus."

"First, this is NOT a hotel. It is an apartment or "residence ". The view is breathtaking. The apartment pleasant. It would be great to stay for a long period of time. My only caution, there is no office or lobby. Contact the property by phone or email and setup a meeting time at gate. There is no WiFi or elevators, it is beautiful and comfortable. The property manager is willing to help and is resourceful. If you want a gorgeous view of Lake Como and want to stay a while, this is a nice choice. "
