The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean and the kitchenette was fully stocked with useful things. The proximity to Lackland AFB made the location ideal for my visit. I would definitely recommend for friends and family visiting military staff if on base stays aren’t an option.

The property was convenient to Lackland Air Force Base, which was where we needed to go. Staff was helpful and friendly. The elevator was out of order during our three night stay. The food and drinks in the little hotel store were pricey.

This hotel was great! Clean and spacious for what you need it for, sleep n relax! The staff were so nice and accommodating! Only thing is it is on the highway so no matter what it will be noisy get you earplugs, lol I did and couldn’t hear anything.

We had a great stay. We were in town for my son’s Army graduation and this place was perfect. Close to Lackland, easy drive to the airport, easy to get to the Riverwalk, and lots of things to do near by. Staff was excellent and I liked that they texted me to see how everything was going. I even spent a few hours outside on the covered patio outside as the weather was so nice. Thank you for a great stay.

This property was not what I was expecting at all. The building is very very dirty inside and out. The bathroom had a broken drawer and a hook that was ripped off the wall and not replaced. Also no room service so if you need clean towels etc you had to go to the front desk and get them yourself this is not what I was looking for especially for what I paid a night. We paid $707 for 4 nights and got a dirty building, no breakfast and no room service. We’ll never ever stay at a Candlewood suites again.

This place is very nice and clean. They are a kitchenette with two burner stove, fridge, and dishwasher. They have cookware and utensils. They offer games and other kitchen appliances you can borrow. They have a dvd player and dvds you can borrow. A very nice indoor pool and grill area. They have a little snack bar area with free coffee and tea and snacks and frozen meals for sale. You can also buy beers and wine at the front desk. We really enjoyed our stay here and if you are a family waiting for a husband or wife to get out of the military training then this is a great place to spend a few days with your family.

The bed in my room was exceptionally comfortable, with soft, clean sheets and equally soft and cozy pillows. The room itself was spacious, with a clean, modern, and generously sized restroom. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing name-brand Dove toiletries, including soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. However, the hotel’s overall condition felt dated. The carpets throughout the property were old and worn, detracting from the overall experience. Considering the price point of the stay, I would expect more attention to updates, especially with the carpeting and overall décor. While the room itself was lovely and comfortable, the rest of the hotel didn’t quite live up to the same standard.

The only complaint I have is the refrigerator in my room the breaker kept kicking and it kept turning off. We had bought a few things to get us through the night so it was frustrating. The front desk was very nice and helpful and they also had a small convenient store with a few little meals, drinks and snacks.
