"I have visited Japan several times a year for the last 20 years, working for a Japanese company, and have been to 7 other Onsens previously, ranging from basic to elegant, so do have a good frame of reference. "My husband and enjoyed our absolutely perfect stay here. The room decor was warm and inviting. The quality and amenities were top-notch. Absolutely the best rest we had during our 14 day trip in Japan. The included breakfast buffet was pleasing ro the eye and tasty. The staff kept the food stocked and the area clean. The hotel was close to train and bus transportation. Do not hesitate to book a room here; you will not be disappointed. We look forward to staying here again on our next vacation in Kyoto! "

"This hotel is strategically located within a 15 walk from Kyoto Metro station. There are many fantastic restaurants around the area, including shrines and temples that you can visit. Breakfast is served in the hotel and that gives you opportunity to load up on energy before you go out to visit all the fantastic places in Kyoto. In addition, if you sign up for the Kyoto Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour of Kyoto and the bus stops right in front of this hotel for pick-up and drop-off. There is a regular shuttle bus operated by the hotel that goes to and from Kyoto Metro station as well."
