"Pros: Amazing views from the condo of the beach and ocean; we did not use the pool on the property, but it looked nice. Easy to walk into town. Spacious 1 bedroom with 1 bathroom. Easy to park at the property. Friendly people. Cons: Condo is in need of a refresh - damaged drywall, vent is caked with dust, screen door is off track and difficult to open/shut, kitchen is pretty well equipped, but chipped plates (one was clearly repaired with some type of glue). "This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Understated and tasteful elegance. Fantastic rooms with amazing balconies, world class beach, impeccable service, excellent grounds, fine dining at Manta, but also a beachfront casual bar/restaurant, and Copper Bar in between and our favorite. They have an Asian Art Collection worthy of a museum. This was out of our usual price range, a big splurge, and worth every penny. We are already trying to figure out how to swing it to go back next winter. "

"Great location right on the ocean front. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Charming gardens and pool overlooking the sea. They are in the middle of painting one wing which wasn't particularly disruptive. The rooms are a bit dated but the view from the balcony and the very atmospheric bar make up for what the rooms lack. On Thursdays the bar hosts local Hawaiian musicians which is really nice."

"The ocean front condo was excellent. It was clean with all you would need to live as there as long as you wanted. We appreciated the two rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom, the washer/dryer and detergent. Thanks for the cooking oil. However, this is the first condo in Hawaii (15 trips) that did have salt and pepper available for the first day. Most have had a one day supply of coffee but this was not a problem for us since we arrived while the nearby ITA was still open. The smoke alarm...
