"Great resort with the best beach on Big Island. This resort is only 300 rooms which means the pool and beach is not over crowded. You can enjoy the amenities at both this property and its sister property Mauna Kea. The only downside of this property was the food. Breakfast and coffee options are great, but lunch and dinner restaurants are bland, poorly executed, and expensive. Overall, I would recommend and plan to go back. "

"It’s not fancy but perfect for us. Walking distance to shops, more formal hotels and a great coffee shop. ABC grocery store walking distance. Catholic Church, library and postal walking distance. Short drive to Safeway & Walmart. Small beach short walk. Snorking shirt drive. 2 bedroom townhouse style out with big deck, 2 bathrooms & kitchen. Ocean view from 2 A. Onsite events. Nice pool areas. Pretty layout. "

Family getaway

"After reading many reviews I was slightly nervous about what we would get. We had a wonderful experience!! The unit we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. What I liked most was that the facility was quiet. Everyone there was respectful, even in the pool where you would expect chaos. There is a market just up the street with everything you would need if you decided to cook in your unit. The BBQ's that were on site were great! I would definitely stay here again! It's just far enough from the main part of town but also close enough."
