"A lovely unique hotel. Staff were attentive, polite and friendly. As it was a special birthday and rather last minute booking I tried to use the thermal suite but it was booked up. This was disappointing. The room was comfortable, spacious with a lovely en suite bathroom. The carpet was a little threadbare in some places although given that the room was rather dark as were the corridors in the hotel then it was not that noticeable. "A delightful stay ‘on board The Liner’. Warm welcome from Receptionist who was impeccably dressed. Nothing was too much bother and everything explained in full, without me asking. Had Sunday lunch in restaurant which was fabulous and unbelievable value for money, especially as it was the last Sunday of the month so there was an added bonus of a ‘live’ singer 2-4pm. "Enjoyed our stay, was perfect for what we wanted. Staff very helpful and chatty. Bit disappointing that the roof bar area was shut for refurbishment, we werent told this on booking and it was one of the reasons i had made the booking. The place is tired and in need of renovation which i believe they're in the process of doing. Super convenient to Liverpool one and some great bars and restaurants nearby. Would recommend as a base for anyone."

Only concern was that the service was rather slow during the evening meal meaning that we when we tried to order dessert we were informed that the kitchen had closed (our reservation was at 7.30pm). However, when I complained at Reception, my complaint was resolved very quickly and to our satisfaction."
