Great open space for socialising with a bar, restaurant, pool table and TV's. Small area with kids toys to entertain the little ones too. Most of the staff were freindly, with only one member of staff telling the kids to keep the noise down. That was the only annoying thing, as there were no other guests present other than our party of about 15 people, so I'm not sure who stood to benefit from the 6 kids reducing the noise, when they were just being normal kids playing hide and seek. All in all, good stay and i'd definitely recommend the hotel.

Didn't realise this was a dog friendly hotel. Not a requirement for our stay. We asked to be moved the first night as there was a dog barking away in the adjoining room. More dogs barking in the lounge and at breakfast. As we were attending a funeral we just wanted some peace and quiet.

There was a leak in the toilet, so the rooms were not checked properly before assigning to the customers. When i reported the leak to reception, the manager straight of the bat tried to pin the problem on me by saying “it was not leaking before we gave you the room”. Making it seem as though we caused the leak. Even after coming to see the leak he said theres nothing they can do and asked me to email someone about it the day after i check out. We stayed in that same room that night. Considering i was staying with a 6 year old child, this was absolutely horrendous from the novotel staff.

Really lovely hotel easy access to the motorway for those coming out of city. Only gripe would be the parking as its free on site so can get busy pretty quickly and can be hard to find a spot. No complaints otherwise. Will stay again.

This hotel had very thin walls and you could hear everything from the room next door- the children and even them going to the toilet. There were kids running up and down the corridors late at night and no pastries left at breakfast. The breakfast room was a mess with dirty pots left on the table.

RHS Bridgewater Garden Hotel
We always stay here when visiting the nearby RHS Bridgewater garden. It’s a short drive away. It’s good value for money, we don’t feel we are paying for something we wont be using.The hotel has a spacious lounge and bar. The breakfast is very good. The hotel seems to have been improved each time we go. One day they will get rid of the wood chip wallpaper in the rooms. It just won’t be the same!
