"Greeted by a cheerful and friendly member of staff. Booked in and showed to our room, called the Collie room. A lovely picture of a collie dog on the wall and two collie dog mugs in the room. Cosy room with comfy bed. The only minor drawback was that there was no bedside lights which was slightly awkward for reading "

"Gorgeous views and light from the substantial enclosed garden at the back. Good for sunsets. House heated quickly and is well equipped. Utility room was great for our third week on the road, we didn't have to unpack unnecessarily! Ideally placed for drives into Lake District, Yorkshire and Bowland. "
