"Quiet resort in front of the ocean. Beach adjacent to the property down few steps directly to the sand on a beautiful small beach. Rental chairs and umbrella at the resort for reasonable price. Surf lesson available at the resort. Restaurant on site is excellent. Rooms ground level partial ocean view with seating area are excellent location. Highly recommended "

" Royal Sonesta is a high quality resort with immaculate structure and furnishings. There are plenty of restaurants (although quite pricey), beautiful grounds and gardens and an amazing pool. It’s a step across a walkway to the beach."

"The property and room was much better tha. We expected. The room was very large with a couch that slept both kids easily. The pool was a big hit with a 7 and 9 year old. Ocean was nice to walk down too but not for swimming, not in the winter months at least. Overall it was nicer than I expected. The staff was very friendly. We would stay here again if we make it back to Kauai. "

"Beautiful property beach access family friendly swimming pools are awesome front desk girls has great and friendly customer service, bell people can be more friendly they not really talkative and welcoming. ELSA from housekeeping was SUPER FRIENDLY AND KIND, she acknowledged us by our name and made us feel so welcomed. We will return to this property again. "

"The hotel is lovely and very family and couple friendly, but do not expect the room you booked, we specifically paid for a room away from the pool with an ocean view, however they “upgraded” us to a room right above the pool and nothing could be done as they considered this an upgrade. Staff were absolutely lovely and willing to help."
