"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"

"Cool experience for our little family. Caravan has great location in the holiday park with a great view, awesome place to stay with good park facilities especially for kids. Good set up with mostly everything you need and a great bbq and outdoor area. Liz was great at responding when we had questions. I’d say just contact the holiday park well in advance to find out the camp ground fees as the rates change and we were almost stung with double the price fees than originally quoted. "Great location. Walking distance to centre of Rotorua. Plenty of places to go to while this was our base. Fantastic to come ‘home’ at the end of the day and cook our own meals, do our washing and relax. "

"Our stay in Rotorua was great! The house had nearly everything we needed (just couldn’t find the rubbish bags) to make us comfortable. We all agreed the house was comfortable, especially the beds! A really great stocked kitchen made it easy to have meals in. Our boys loved the pool table, extra tv room and had fun in the pool. Thanks for making our NZ trip great!"
