"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"

"Had a wonderful stay with our four teen/adult children, couldn’t fault the home it was spotless and very well appointed. Communication from the hosts was first rate and just steps from the beach. A lovely place to stay in, highly recommend"

"It is a well kept, clean and comfortable property. Really enjoyed our stay. The basics like tea, kitchen towel etc were running out though. So that could have been better provided for. "

"For a family gathering it is a great place. Lots of space and for kids having the school over the back fence was great for them to run around."

"Gorgeous house with so much space for a group of 9. With 3 showers and toilets, no queues and such an easy getaway. Pool side party was also great fun. We loved seeing and interacting with the horses. We also hosted a tea party for my family one morning with the owner's permission, which was a huge drawcard seeing as most properties don't allow even quiet gatherings. Fast communication from the owner, overall great place to stay!"
