"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"

"The perfect place for a young family. The township is a couple of feet away and across the road is the beach with an inlet that is safe for the kids to play. The owners have a great selection of beach toys to use. We loved our stay here."

Backwards and forwards from the beach all day, great deck to spend the evenings on and plenty of space for the kids to run around. If you’re into a great kiwi bach holiday then this can’t be faulted. There are ripped curtains in the bedroom and the shower needs the pressure and door fixed - simple low cost fixes which would make it much better. Owners live on site permanently and people live below the unit in the garage also so you only have the deck to use."
