"From the time we arrived to the time we left it was absolute perfection. The house was was right on the beach surrounded by beautiful palm trees. The sunsets were amazing! We were able to snorkel right off the dock. This location was the right spot for exploring the island"

"We had a great week long stay at the cabana. Conrad and Vanessa were very responsive and helpful if we had any questions. We traveled with a 12 and 14 year old boy and they had a blast snorkeling the reef that was a short swim from the end of the pier. I recommend buying an inflatable snorkeling buoy from Amazon to bring with you. We bought groceries from Eldon’s on the way to the rental from the airport and cooked in the kitchen. Blue Island Divers is a short walk down the beach and was our main hangout. The cabana was clean, quiet and perfect for our needs. The pool was a bonus! We chose not to rent a car and do not regret it. We were happy to stay in our piece of heaven."

"Puerta Azul is a quaint boutique style hotel with private little cabins. They have a nice restaurant and provide breakfast every morning. Everyone who works there is super nice and friendly. Location is quiet and away from the crowds of the West End. If you want to go anywhere, they provide transportation. The best part was snorkeling right off the dock. The reef was full of coral and fish. They also had free paddle boards and kayaks and you can rent snorkel equipment for $10 for the whole week. I will be back!"

"Al & Sandra were outstanding hosts sharing their love and knowledge about Roatan. The house was just as presented on the website and had everything we needed for our three week stay. The galley-style kitchen had all the equipment we needed to prepare meals which we enjoyed on the screened deck; beds were comfortable; ceiling fans were all we needed during the day and the AC was great for sleeping on still nights. The special treat here though is Spooky Chanel and the meso-american reef just 50 yards off the dock which we enjoyed snorkeling every morning. Our sorrow in leaving was tempered by knowing that we will be returning."

"The Blue Bahia Resort is a small, beautiful place that is set among tropical gardens directly on the beach. The condos are efficient and have everything you need and more. Housekeeping everyday with fresh towels was a plus. The restaurant is great. Staff is excellent- very kind, helpful and courteous. They go out of their way to help, or ask if you need anything. We hope to visit again sometime. It should be noted that the need for taxis to get around from Sandy Bay is necessary. Taxis are expensive in Roatán. We should have rented a car, although parking is extremely limited."

"Gorgeous property. Loved staying at this resort. The lush, green natural landscaping with sandy paths and rope-lined wooden trails were a dream. Clean beach with incredible coral reefs and snorkeling right in front of the hotel, and the infinity pool was right on the beach. Perfect for a fun, relaxing family vacation! We stayed in a bungalow and really enjoyed the privacy and deck. Short but steep uphill climb to get to our specific bungalow, which we didn’t mind, but might not be for everyone. We booked our room with breakfast included, definitely worth it! The breakfast buffet had many delicious options. Service could be a bit slow, especially around the pool, but we found that to be the case at pretty much every restaurant on the island. My favorite meal at the resort was at the SeaCat. I ordered the garifuna soup and my husband had the fried fish. Both were delicious! The kids enjoyed angus burgers with fries. Favorite drink was definitely the piña colada."

"Supi made us great homemade breakfast, lunch and dinner if we requested. There are also good restaurants nearby."
