"This property was exactly what we had in mind, a cozy little Casita on the ocean. Even though it was small, the kitchen was very well stocked and the bathroom was also nice. The shower was hot and had great pressure! The dock was wonderful to go sit on and have coffee and breakfast. The staff was very helpful and friendly, even offering to do a load of laundry for us! We were within walking distance of restaurants and the Sandy Bay Dive shop. Victor, the security guard at night, really helped us feel safe and protected. It was perfect. The only advice I would give other travelers is to research how much excursions (like snorkeling and fishing) and things like that cost before you arrive. We ran into some opportunists! "

"For a group that loves to cook and hang out after a long day on the water, this property with its courtyard-style pool surrounded by a luscious landscape was perfect. Inside the air-conditioned chef's kitchen and lounging area provided another place for us to eat and share stories. There's a professional onsite gym that a few of us used! Loriza, our sweet caretaker, made us a traditional Honduran meal and took great care of the house during our stay. We couldn't have asked for more. Good to know ahead... there are a lot of steps to get up to the house and to your rooms. It was good exercise for us. "

"It was a nice stay amidst the beautiful landscape. Convenient location to the west end, west bay beach etc. There is a beach at the walkable distance. Owner Cheryl was very helpful in providing all the information and served with a very delicious breakfast in the morning. She was very knowledgeable person and provided insights to different places in and around the area to visit. Had a very nice time chatting with her. There is a very beautiful and clean swimming pool right in front of the cafe. It was overall a very positive experience for me. I would definitely recommend the stay here and would come back with family next time when I visit Roatan."

"I had an amazing experience at the Jolly Olly Octopus Restaurant in Roatan, Honduras. The location couldn't be any better as it is right on the waterfront. The access to amenities like kayaks, masks, and snorkels was a great addition, allowing for plenty of fun activities. The spacious shower was a nice touch, and all the appliances were brand new, showcasing the owner's attention to detail and quality. We also enjoyed many of the uniquely crafted specialty drinks. But what truly sets Tranquilseas apart is the wonderful team that makes you feel like you’re part of their family. Ellie, the manager, is the heart of the resort, ensuring every guest is well taken care of. Franklin, Rudy, Samir, Ruby, Harry, Cesia, Jan, Denry, Osman, and Mr. Hernandez all contribute to the warm, welcoming atmosphere (there were others, I am sorry I can’t recall their names). Their friendliness and dedication make your stay not just a vacation, but an experience filled with genuine connections and unforgettable moments. If you’re looking for a serene getaway where you can feel at home while exploring some of the world’s most beautiful underwater landscapes, Tranquilseas is the perfect destination. I can’t recommend it highly enough! We will be back! "

"Our stay at Gloria and Tom's beach house in Roatan was a wonderful experience! The house itself was very nicely decorated, providing all the comforts of home and the added charm of island life. The location was great, just down the road from Anthony's Dive Shop and a short drive to Half Moon Bay. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, but we also enjoyed trying local restaurants nearby. Gloria and Tom were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent recommendations for activities and dining. Whether we were scuba diving or lounging on one of the patios, every moment was amazing. We did have a few issues while we were there, that were no fault to Gloria or Tom, but were quickly addressed with the help of Hugo. I will say, keep in mind that electricity is fairly expensive on the island, so do you best to conserve it when you can. Overall, the stay was great, the hosts were amazing, and we would stay there again."
