"We recently stayed at Distrito 88 for a week and really enjoyed our time there. The hotel itself is beautiful and offers great outdoor spaces and a few pools. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The location was also amazing and was a quick walk into town but far enough away that it was quiet during the night time. We look forward to coming back soon!"

"This place is so fantastic. The room was great and we loved the upstairs pool. The breakfast and service in the morning was 5 stars. Also very walkable to great dining and entertainment options. Overall a fantastic place to stay. I would definitely stay again! "

"Hosts: Extremely helpful, they went out of their way to help me get items I needed for the next stage of my trip. Room and building: Excellent. Atmospheric with lots of character, and a view of palm trees from my window. Cool with AC and a powerful fan. Big garden area which is nicely lit at night, with swinging chairs, recliners and a pool. "

"First impressions are everything and this place had it in spades. From the welcome by Manuel and Rosa on-site hosts to the phone call from Elza the owner welcoming us and sending a bottle of wine to our room. This really cool Mexican B&B was special. The view was spectacular and our room was fantastic, it is actually a suite.You do really need a car though if you have walking issues as it is up a steep hill to the property, but the view as a result is worth it. Rosa cooks a fabulous breakfast...

"It was horrible experience. I didnt even stay at this place. I made reservation through expedia and the host mentioned he never got the reservation on his end. To make things worse, he said he was all booked and had no more rooms. I had my family with me and had to look elsewhere for a night's stay. Im glad i called him a head of time and found out. Or else i would've showed up without anywhere to stay. The host said it has been years since they have used expedia. Expedia, please remove hotel...

"Just got back from a great trip. We stayed Sunday to Friday and I truly don’t understand some of the negative reviews. We traveled with our 12 and 15 yr olds and my 60 something year old parents. Everyone loved it. Food was great! I especially liked the Mexican and sushi restaurants. Steakhouse was good too. Drinks were great and their Prosecco was good. I only had buffet the first night when we got there for dinner and I did not care for it for dinner. The buffets were great for breakfast though. Fresh fruit, omelet station, crispy bacon! I also really enjoyed the seafood spot for lunch. The burger truck and outdoor buffet was a great option for when you’re by the pool. Honestly, there isn’t anything I wanted that I couldn’t find. They had spin class and exercise classes in the morning (I watched from my room), my husband said the gym was really nice. Every room has an amazing ocean view. Again, if you have a group that is easily inconvenienced or the grumpy type, they might find something bad in even the nicest hotels. We saw a few of these types while I was there. A husband who would get annoyed because he had to wait for his drink and the wife trying to calm him down. Embarassing really. We really enjoyed the pools, beach was amazing, whale watching every single morning (we saw so many baby whales!), collecting seashells, looking for crabs, visiting all the bars and playing games every night in the family lounge. I was surprised how into the games my kids were."
