"The front staff was very friendly. Breakfast area was clean. Our room was almost great with the exception of the bathroom and the mattress on the pull out sofa. Our room was a handicapped room so the shower was even with the floor. There was a thin, clean plastic stripe on the floor to prevent water from flowing over the entire floor which was in need of replacing, it was black underneath it at the corners and beyond. "The rooms are so cozy and the facility is very non-corporate. I like the uniqueness of this hotel and the authenticity of the experience. The staff is real and friendly. The rooms all have a balcony which is so enjoyable a freeing. Unlike the stagnate claustrophobic feeling of corporate hotels that are so afraid of guests committing suicide they lock the windows shut, which feels insulting. The fact that there is a balcony is a sign of good health. "
