"We enjoyed our stay at the Malmaison Charterhouse Square very much. Staff was uniformly helpful and cheerful, our room on the 6th floor was quiet and comfortable (especially the not-too-soft, not-too-hard bed), and all the facilities were spotless and well appointed. We had a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant as well. Lots of little extras, like tea- and coffee-making facilities, biscuits, and lovely toiletries, plus quirky decor details made the stay especially nice."

"The hotel was closed. We had not been told. There were mice running around the reception! We were moved hotel and where we went was lovely but the main reason we booked this hotel was for the swimming pool for our children and the hotel we moved to didn’t have one."

" The location is perfect for me which is why I keep going there and many aspects of the hotel are good but the room service is poor. When they do it they do not clean or replace used glasses or coffee mugs and do not refresh the tea bags coffee sachets etc. This has been the case every time I've stayed. So much so I brought extra tea bags extra milk and some biscuits of my own. To date I have not spoken with any of the chamber women who speak English so they do not know what I'm asking them to...

"Studio was small but well equipped - & everything worked. Tight for 2, perfect for one. Excellent bed & bedding, excellent lighting, spotlessly clean, shower a bit feeble but worked ok. Very quiet despite being in a busy part of London. Recommended, especially if you want the option to self-cater. "

"It was very good value for a night’s stay midweek and the room was comfortable. It was quite noisy until well after midnight. Breakfast was quite expensive for a standard buffet and the coffee was not great. "
