"Not a usual hotel! In an old downtown building with very inexpensive parking garage right behind it. Easy check in procedure at the main floor Western Steak and Burger. Many nice restaurants within walking distance. Fully equipped rooms with full kitchen and separate bedroom. Great price and convenience. (No elevator) We have returned again since our first visit and will likely return again if we have business in Guelph. "

"The hotel, rooms and staff were magnificent. I spend a lot of time in hotels and this was really fantastic. The highlight was the size and configuration of the suite, but most importantly having a log fire with all the wood, firelighters etc provided. It was fun. The staff were excellent, the only area for improvement was the main restaurant. The bar was fabulous and fun, we dined there the first night, however the formal dining room on the second was incredibly disappointing. The food lacked...
