"Nice hotel with affordable rates. The staff were really nice. My room was clean. Be mindful that the hotel is doing renovations so they do not have breakfast currently, but a good local coffee shop is a 2 block walk. I love the location... 3 to 6 minute walk to everything including the beaches. I would stay here again on my next trip."

"We enjoyed our 2 nite stay. The only noise was from PCH, its busy and loud traffic. We picked it because of the ability to walk to the beach, some good food options and a grocery store as well. Surfside is a pretty low key beach community and we’d probably stay there again.. "

"The property is very large as advertised. The pool was dirty and not heated. The owner charges extra to heat the pool. The owner is slow to respond to concerns and seemed disinterested in making things right. No garage opener so you are running in and out to close the garage door and lock up to leave.
