"Wonderful experience staying at the Milner in York. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the hotel is beautiful and exudes a calm and tranquil vibe. "A wee couple of days in York. Nice and clean hotel.Staff friendly. Very close to the shambles, cathedral, shops pubs etc. about £ 8;00 taxi ride from main train station. Lovely staff. Could do with some place to hang coats . Separately esp in this wet weather. But otherwise …hunky dory."

The woman behind reception had walked out in a huff and left them waiting there for some time and when she finally returned, she refused to check them in.
