"This hotel is closed we were rebooked at the Europa Gatwick hotel a sister hotel connected with the Britannia Hotel chain. On the out side it looked ok check in was fine and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The twin room i booked was pretty spartan, lacking in pillows, one per guest, the beds were absolutely atrocious one could feel the springs thru the mattress and the bed creaked something chronic, there was also a very strange nude picture of a women on the wall over the bed...

"It was good. The only issue was with having to pay for meal at the main reception desk as I and another couple of people waited a long time for bill. In the end we gave up and went to pay at reception where we waited another 10-20 mins before we could pay. "

"Nice welcome, nice room, nice food. Handy for the airport. Only 15 minutes walk from the station."
