"We had a very nice stay ,in this lovely loccation the cottage was large and clean , however on arrival we found the dryer was not working, rang the host several times and left messages and e mails.We had no reply or any contact during our stay ,so dryer remained broken ( frustrating ). Also a minor irk was there was no tin opener.A welcome pack would have been nicer than a download.The host scored 0 but the stay was nice"

"Really happy with our stay in Furness Vale.The communication and information from Andy was great.Short drive to most of the peaks and Buxton.The walk along the canal path to New Mills was very pleasant.The cottage was very homely and comfortable and a great place to head back to after a long day walking.Definitely stay there again. "3 night stay for a local business event. The property was lovely and clean and the beds soft and comfortable. The grass did need cutting and the front garden wasn't that nice.Some real basics were missing like. Salt and pepper, can opener, , and scissors. No basis casserole dish. Kitchen kit h equipment more than basic. The rchairs and couch sadly was the most uncomfortable furniture I have every day on, although looked colourful."

"We had to find an alternative to the property we'd originally booked and came across this house. A lucky find after our disappointment. Close to the city centre, a short bus ride away but if you're feeling up to it you could walk in. The area is quiet.The house was warm and had everything we needed for a weeks stay.Large supermarket a short drive away and smaller shops in walking distance.Any queries were answered promptly.We would definitely return."
