"Everything is perfect there"

"The property is very beautiful.. one thing o observe was the entrance to the lobby was leaking heavily due to heavy rain.. I think they management need to have this issue resolved immediately.. the dining room staff were very helpful.. I would like to acknowledge two individuals who went above and beyond for me and other guests.. Yanique that works in the evening and Mikale that works breakfast in the morning.. I hope I spell their names correctly.. they both work in the main dining room downstairs.. I would also like to acknowledge Jermaine that works at the bell desk.. these individuals made my vacation extremely special.. thanks to all of you "

"What a wonderful place to stay! My husband and I enjoyed it more than I can say. Laura was very hospitable, knowledgeable, and always available. Charlotte and Crystal who work on the property were so kind and wonderful also. We did not want for anything. This B&B is clean, beautiful, peaceful, safe and the gardens are just stunning. We spoke almost daily to the gardener who was always busy tending to the lovely plants. And the breakfast meals….oh my goodness, so much food and so delicious!!! While we were there we took many short strolls to the beaches ( doctors cave and harmony beach), walked to go shopping, to restaurants, (our favorites; Peppas cool spot and Pelican grill) and a casino. The area is safe with so many friendly people everywhere we went. When needing a ride we called upon Kamar from Clarkes tours. He was an excellent driver and actually stayed nearby all day while visiting Negril. We just felt so safe and happy throughout our entire holiday in Jamaica! Thank you everyone!! "

"I would say it was amazing. The service was great. It's a little slower than what we're used to in the United States, but all the same pretty good. Check-in Ms. Kassandra and Ms. Claudia truly amazing. They need a raise. The food was great compared to anywhere else at any other resort that we've eaten at in jamaica. There are no elevators but there are a bunch of rooms on the ground floor and 2nd floor. Hotel was very boutique-y and vintage, but in a good way. I will definitely come back. Planning on bringing the kids next spring break. The beach and the accessibility to shops and attractions were great. Everything within walking distance. Most of the locals are helpful, but you still have to be mindful of scams with taxis and watch out for female drivers. They seem to be the ones. That I use to run the most scams. The older ladies help us around the city, it gives a real community sense of community. We bought local with the local vendors first before going to any commercial businesses. And they were great felt safe for the most part, but I am a New Yorker, so it is about the same environment/ culture. Vendors were pushy, but polite, so a simple no, thank you and continuing to walk on by works well. Tips are not necessary, but are appreciated.One u s dollar goes a long way."

"The food was excellent and the staff were great. The place had a great vibe and a nice selection of local cuisine and some American style food for the less adventurous. I definitely recommend the goat curry and the jerk recipes. Breakfast was always a treat. Plenty of alcohol for those who are inclined. The streets outside of the property were kinda run down and crowded. But there’s a great little store across the street. I was able to pick up some cigars. If you like a maduro (dark oily wrapper) try the Blue Mountain Cigar company. They sell them at the store. I can’t remember the name of the store, but it is literally a short two minute walk, very clean inside and they will negotiate prices!"

"The food was 5 star. Very easy to get reservations, and although people do put towels down to reserve seats by the beach/ pool, we had no problems getting seats throughout the day. The staff is well trained & friendly. We stayed in the adults only side, but activities are mixed with children, like yoga and some entertainment."
