"We went for a funeral and stayed in this beautiful home for 15 days. Despite being there when hurricane beryl hit and losing power for a few days Mike and Mr Gilly were great. Very caring and considerate, and ensured we had everything we needed. Now to the home, wasn't sure what to expect .The photos dont do it justice. "Have been traveling to Jamaica since I was 5 years old. Parents had a condo there until last year. Needed to get back to unwind. Able to take myself, wife and our 2 adult sons. It was wonderful. Our days were spent relaxing, eating great food made by the chef, time on the beach and in the pool. Napping and playing cribbage. Watching F1 on TV. Banana Daiquiris before dinner. "We stayed at Shimmering Waters for four nights at the end of October. We were picked up in Kingston by Bakerdon and driven up to Montego Bay (via Dunn’s River). "Our family of 10 walked into a breathtaking villa with a view of the pool and bay, the day before Hurricane Beryl hit. Gizelle had excellent staff prepared, so we really didn’t have much of a problem. The whole property is amazing! Chef Ritchie was so incredible, my sister in-law wanted to take him home with us. "The property was great, everything was clean and neat. The gated community is really nice and quiet. The gates are definitely secured and we felt very safe. The only problem is after 2 days the shower water as colder as if someone turned the hot water heater down. "

"The property is nicely maintained and clean. It is very secure. A timely response is received from the host. There aren't many places within walking distance. Avenge yourself by going to the front area, where there is a clubhouse, gym, pool, and outdoor area. In addition to the house, the outside area is also nice.."

"I booked this property for myself and family of 6 and we stayed comfortably with ages ranging from 9 yrs old to 73. I found the location to be perfect positioning for a base to tour the island from. I would suggest having a vehicle or reliable taxi service as the centre of Ochie is only 5 minutes away but realistically 20 mins walking down hill from the door. We loved the complex the property is in. The security to get in is tight and also polite but this leaves you with a real sense of safety...

"I was here on a business trip, so I opted for small studio accommodations because I was going to be all over the place (Kingston, Ocho Rios, Negril) with only 2 days downtime in Mo Bay. "I would say this was an amazing introduction to Jamaica! I loved the cuisine (on and off the property), entertainment was excellent! Staff undoubtedly catered to guests needs relentlessly. They also maintained the grounds and property amazingly, there was always someone tidying up, but mindfully not disturbing any guest. We even got turn down service on the day we checked out! I’d like to especially thank Andre and the director of entertainment because they helped me arrange a birthday surprise for my husband which is now an unforgettable moment for us lol! Being able to walk to shops and the club was also a bonus, we only needed taxis when we went on excursions. A beautiful, intimate resort with so much to offer, I can’t wait to go back!"
