"Our room, a junior suite was quite large and surgically clean. Bathroom was very modern, large and with great water pressure. Staff was great. My only caution would be to comment that this is not an air-conditioned hotel in the usual sense. There is a system which can be set to lower the temperature in the room slightly, but we found it ineffective. If you're not comfortable sleeping in a warm room, this hotel might best be considered only in the cooler months. "

"We had an excellent time at this hotel. The staff was beyond helpful and nice. Rooms were super clean. We got the basic room, but it was larger than we expected and just fine for three nights. Great location in the heart of the city. Our only complaint was the temperature of the room at night. We had to open the window because it was so hot. The gym was also very hot and had limited equipment. It had three cardio machines and a set of hand weights (only Up to 10 kg). "

"The only negative was that other guest’s dog lefy 2 piles of geces in the corridet. Someone tried to remove it but left 2 significant feces smears on the carpet. We immediately notified front desk receptionist. Then next morning we told the housekeeper who was aware. The smears remained for our entire visit until our last morning when we submitted complaints to reception director again, it was finally cleaned at the time of our departure. "Everything about this hotel works well. Good location near the city centre but is quiet during the night. Try and get a garden room rather than one facing the street. Breakfast is eye watering in price but it’s nice. Restaurant can do an evening meal but it’s not a great choice."

"It was very close to the train station, which was convenient but The parts of the city that you would want to spend time in were about a15 minute walk away. There is excellent public transportation very conveniently located but we did not use it. "

"Excellent hotel. Check in was unexpectedly helpful and friendly. Room was large and comfortable and clean. Breakfast is expensive but there are no options close to the hotel. Hotel is next to the #50 bus stop which goes directly to the airport and to the train station in Basel. Have fun!"
