The location is superb for seeing temples on the west side of Kyoto, and it’s always easy to get around, either via their free shuttle bus to Kyoto Station, or by nearby public transit with a few blocks’ walk. The staff offers world class hospitality. I could not have asked for a better stay. "

"Upon arriving to this property is a beautiful walk right next to the river that flows through the area. It was a little hard to find at first but just follow the maps and look closely for there hotel name. It was a nice traditional feel in the room and it was very clean and friendly staffed. Walkable distance to a lot of stations and there is so much to do in the area for sure!"

"Very well run hotel. Only issue is the bar area is sadly lacking in the mood it gives off. Feels like you are in a bunker. "
