"Lovely overnight stay in comfortable room with all the facilities needed. Bathroom was a bit tired and had limited space to put wash bags etc, but there was plentiful hot water and a decent shower, lovely toiletries and good towels. Good lively atmosphere in hotel, it’s Christmas so lots of entertainment. "Lovely Sunday night stay at a charming Inn. The staff were very polite and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The room was a little hot but there was a Dyson fan which worked well. In the bedroom were Coffee and tea making facilities and an iron and ironing board. There was no wardrobe but there was a hanging rail ( definitely ok for an overnight stay). "Lovely hotel, unfortunately had a power outage when we woke up in the morning, not the hotels fault, as it was down the the storm in the area. It would have been a good gesture to have notified us what the issue was and kept us informed. Otherwise, a great stay, comfortable, clean and very convenient."

"Room had all our needs and was well equipped , clean and smelt fresh at all times , staff very friendly and welcoming. Car parking was excellent no problems at all. "I read the reviews of this hotel after booking and was a bit apprehensive but this hotel is clearly under new management. Staff so helpful and friendly breakfast was really tasty with fresh locally sources produce and I had the mixed grill in the evening (my go to meal), AMAZING! If I ever visit the IoW again I would happily stay at the Prince of Wales. "

"If you like a 400-year-old English Country Pub this site is for you as it was for us. We loved the quaint atmosphere and the cheerful staff. Food was traditional fare and well presented. Parking was close to accommodation."
