First of all, this tavern and hotel hosted some of the guests from the famous Titanic, and the premises are as beautiful now as they must have been, back then. "One of the best places to stay with a dog. Staff are very dog friendly and the property is quite large to walk your dog around so it's very convenient. The rooms also have a good sized bath so it was excellent! "

"Great location in central Chichester Very friendly staff My room was separate from the pub so I didn't have to go through the bar to get to my room Breakfast was ok. Continental only. Lots of lovely eateries nearby. Chichester is a vibrant City with plenty to see and do. Hope to return soon. Many thanks."

"Somerton Lodge had a good parking area at the rear of the property. Anne & John were very welcoming and friendly. The location of the property was a little further out than we would have liked but still walkable. On check-in you have to say what time you would like breakfast and what you want to eat. "I booked the property going solely from the reviews and was not disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable. The food choices and service was good and i enjoyed eating there. I was not really expecting much as the cost was very reasonable but was impressed. The staff were really good and very pleasant. "We stayed one night before departing on a cruise. Nice room, actually a studio apartment, was more than we needed. Quiet at night and.comfortable bed. Café was under renovation, but the White Star Cafe is two blocks away and great for lunch and breakfast. Plenty of historical sights to see within walking distance."
