"This was our third year here for a week. We love love the new deck and siding! Such a treasure I hate sharing how much we love this place for fear it will be booked up when I want to stay. Very homey and comfortable! It’s the next best thing to owning the place myself. ur favorite place to get away for a peaceful week. And our dogs come too because they love the big back yard and sitting on the river deck watching the fish go by. A++"

"We stayed in late October over Halloween and the conditions were perfect for this time of year! We didn’t get out on the water but we did enjoy the sound of wind in the trees and we saw a few deer including some baby deer eating wild berries right in the back yard so that was awesome. The cabin was very cozy and kept us warm even when the temperature took a dive overnight. Definitely would recommend it if you are looking for a quiet place to get away from the Trick or Treaters 😂"

"Listing pictures don’t do justice to how magical this place is! All our kids (Ages 0-14) loved it so much, they didn’t want to leave. Chicken coup right outside the cabin where we were offered fresh eggs each morning. It’s close to everything, but still so private and secluded. My favorite thing was looking at the stars each night. The view is breathtaking. Will definitely be back. Thank you for having us! "

"Winter visit for hiking, had light snow. The location on the creek was gorgeous, quiet, secluded. Caretaker was friendly, helpful, informative, and takes good care of the place."

"Faith cabin was perfect for our get-a-way! We were meeting up with friends to enjoy the Silver Lake Dunes and needed a little home-a-way from home that wasn't too far off the beaten path. The cabin was perfect, we had all the amenities we needed, plus a comfortable bed in a quiet location to rest our heads. We didn't spend a lot of time at the cabin, but the location was wonderful! We would definitely book again for our next stay! The host was responsive, too. "

"Went up to celebrate my son’s 21st birthday. Both youngest kids had a half hour drive from Ferris State University. My oldest had to work in Big Rapids. My parents live an hour and ten minutes away. Perfect location on the lake to have a small gathering for a day. Hiking trails nearby. Spent a night alone in the peaceful morning waking up to a beautiful lake and breeze. Plan to return. "

"Had a great time out in the woods. With no internet or tv we had time to play games and make crafts. Would def recommend for a true get away. "

"Nice comfortable cabin and conveniently located. I only gave 3 stars for cleanliness because I felt the exterior needed to be pressure washed as there were many spider webs on the log exterior. We also had many acorns and leaves on the deck when we arrived. We swept them off and it lasted about 3 days or so (so I don’t think the deck was swept prior to our arrival). The interior was very clean and amenities were good. Overall we would recommend. "

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly want. The view is stunning and worth the hike up the mountain. The walkway was a bit slippery on a frosty morning, but we used the provided "trax" (spiked covers for shoes) and they worked great. The host was having a fridge issue during our stay, but they made sure we had a working fridge and offered clear communications about when we could expect a repair person to arrive."
