It was also nice to be so close to the dunes area and the sunset at the county park is something you don't want to miss. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to the area."

"Loved the property! Tucked away and very private. Home was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen is very well supplied for all sorts of cooking. My party loves fishing, and being right on Hamlin Lake was a huge bonus. We spent a lot of time fishing down at the dock. The property is located on one of the shallower ends of the lake, so you have to fish through weeds and be prepared to catch smaller fish. Ludington State park hikes to see all the amazing changing colors. This house was perfect for the 4 families - plenty of space, fully stocked and just so comfortable all around! "This was one second year at this adorable cottage. We loved it once again! The stairs to the lake were improved from last year. (Still no lake access, but we could get closer to watch the waves and sunset.) We are comfortable with the simplicity of handwashing dishes, and enjoyed unplugging from a hectic schedule with no wifi and basically no phone connection. All in all, a great place for a wonderful vacation!"

"Very clean. Comfortable. Has two bathrooms which is great. Decent parking. Nice fire pit out front. The garage has ping pong table and a few other games which is awesome. The covered grilling station outside the garage is a nice touch. The couches are very comfortable afyer a long day offroading at the sand dunes.Only thing we didn't like were the security cameras in the yard and on the deck. Weird feeling to be watched while on vacation. Other than that great little cabin."

"This was our third year here for a week. We love love the new deck and siding! Such a treasure I hate sharing how much we love this place for fear it will be booked up when I want to stay. Very homey and comfortable! It’s the next best thing to owning the place myself. ur favorite place to get away for a peaceful week. And our dogs come too because they love the big back yard and sitting on the river deck watching the fish go by. A++"

"This is a cozy cottage and very comfortable. I wish I would have known the second bedroom only had exterior access. Who is doing the cleaning could pay attention to a little more detail. The refrigerator wasn’t super clean and there were items on the floor next to the sink in the upstairs bathroom. Beautiful view outside and very quiet to sit out and enjoy coffee. "
