"Beautiful location within Manistee National Forest. There was plenty of refrigerator and freezer space for our pre-cooked Thanksgiving dinner. We hoped to do more hiking and outdoor activities during our week stay, but weather didn't cooperate. We had a great time anyway, playing lots of board games!"

"Listing pictures don’t do justice to how magical this place is! All our kids (Ages 0-14) loved it so much, they didn’t want to leave. Chicken coup right outside the cabin where we were offered fresh eggs each morning. It’s close to everything, but still so private and secluded. My favorite thing was looking at the stars each night. The view is breathtaking. Will definitely be back. Thank you for having us! "

"Faith cabin was perfect for our get-a-way! We were meeting up with friends to enjoy the Silver Lake Dunes and needed a little home-a-way from home that wasn't too far off the beaten path. The cabin was perfect, we had all the amenities we needed, plus a comfortable bed in a quiet location to rest our heads. We didn't spend a lot of time at the cabin, but the location was wonderful! We would definitely book again for our next stay! The host was responsive, too. "

"This was our third year here for a week. We love love the new deck and siding! Such a treasure I hate sharing how much we love this place for fear it will be booked up when I want to stay. Very homey and comfortable! It’s the next best thing to owning the place myself. ur favorite place to get away for a peaceful week. And our dogs come too because they love the big back yard and sitting on the river deck watching the fish go by. A++"

"Our family was very pleased with our stay at the Eagles nest. It was a very warm & cozy cabin with beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed walking down to the beach with a cup of coffee & our dogs. Lots of memories made and our kids were asking when we could come back and sad to leave. "Nice comfortable cabin and conveniently located. I only gave 3 stars for cleanliness because I felt the exterior needed to be pressure washed as there were many spider webs on the log exterior. We also had many acorns and leaves on the deck when we arrived. We swept them off and it lasted about 3 days or so (so I don’t think the deck was swept prior to our arrival). The interior was very clean and amenities were good. Overall we would recommend. "

"This is a cozy cottage and very comfortable. I wish I would have known the second bedroom only had exterior access. Who is doing the cleaning could pay attention to a little more detail. The refrigerator wasn’t super clean and there were items on the floor next to the sink in the upstairs bathroom. Beautiful view outside and very quiet to sit out and enjoy coffee. "

"We stayed in this cabin August 2024 and it definitely has the cabin smell that’s a little overwhelming when you first enter. It was fine for us to come back to in the evening after our day trips. Close to visit Ludington and Pentwater. Also Lake Michigan or inland Bass Lake for beach days. The carpet and couch could use a good shampoo otherwise, it was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. "
