"The property was really close to the beach. Had issues with the room. The situation was handled poorly. Had to go to another property to speak to a manager. It was resolved after 3 room changes, but much time lost due to this. The pool and hot tub is amazing. "

"Uniquely classic 50s. Loved the old fashioned bathroom- so much like the home I grew up in. Two blocks from waterfront!! Closest neighbor a city park. Even a screen door. Price unbeatable. I don't particularly like cold, sterile modern (or fancy) hotels. Ventura was super clean, accessible and classic."

"Nice and cozy, I was able to adjust the temperature, take a hot bath and shower, wrap up in a full size towel, have a cup of hot coffee and curl up and read a good book, then made so microwave pop corn and watch a movie with my husband. Nice size fridge for all my hubbies snakes. Customer service was GREAT!!"

"Summers Inn is a nice motel. The staff at the office and the breakfast area were very nice and polite. The bathroom in the room was small. Which is typical for the older motels. But, it was very clean. Breakfast was handled differently than most motels. You chose what you wanted the night before along with a time to eat the next morning. Worked great in my opinion."

"This was our 2nd November trip to this property, and loved it again. They HAVE EVERYTHING THERE. Toys galore, sand toys, dogs water bowls, booster seat, EVERYTHING.
