"Petunia House was exactly as described and perfect for a couple’s getaway. When we arrived we found a small issue with the hottub. I messaged the host through the app and they came and fixed the issue within less than 15 minutes. Just a block removed from all the main road attractions, we walked everywhere. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Would consider rentint out the whole Briar Patch for something like a family reunion!"

"The cottage lived up to the billing, the whole place is as cute as can be. We loved the period decor, the cottage was extremely clean, beds comfortable, and stocked with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen (even the toaster is cute). The location was great too, just a few minutes from downtown and close enough to the highway to access the wineries and distilleries outside of town. When I asked the property manager about where to find the wood he said there probably wasn’t any because they hadn’t been there in a while and we should have brought our own! "The views from our cabin were wonderful and perfect for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The cabin was clean and comfortably furnished, better than the pictures. It is a bit of a drive to Fredericksburg and local attractions, but to us it was worth it. The proprietor is a lovely person. We would definitely stay again! "
