"I was at the. Celtic Manor Resort for one night, a Friday before Easter. What a lovely stay, room with a view out over the city and onto the Severn Estuary. A really clean, spacious room with a walk in shower and bath, comfy beds and really quiet. I used the swimming pool, which is a lovely size and has a couple of Saunas and steam rooms, again really clean. Staff were lovely, everywhere I went and so helpful. Breakfast was busy but so much food and again clean and efficient. A lovely stay...

"We had a lovely one night stay at the Kings Head. As we travelled down we unfortunately had a very late check in but the team were super friendly and gave us a warm welcome on arrival. It’s in a great location for exploring and the cooked breakfast was delicious. "

"Perfect for a one night stop over. Few stray hairs found in the bathroom upon arrival. The people above us were stomping around and we could also hear someone else’s TV so rooms aren’t very sound proof at all. Also could’ve done with a few more pillows as the ones provided were very flat. Otherwise breakfast was great and we ate dinner in the pub which was also good. Would recommend."

"Great hotel for the price, right at the top end of the main street. Comfy bed with quality bedding. Lovely pub downstairs, with TV screens. Marked down slightly on comfort, as other guests leaving in the am, going past the door, wake you up, if you'd like a bit of a lie-in. "
