"The stay here was very peaceful. Various birds on the water. Spotted a fox roaming the shoreline. Enjoyed morning coffee sitting at the kitchen table looking at the lake. We had a brilliant sunset the first evening we were there. While being remote we enjoyed the closeness of Ithaca and the historic village of Aurora. If you enjoy art, check out the Herbert F. Johmson Museum of Art. "

"The house was absolutely gorgeous. Big open floor plan plenty of room for the eight of us that were there. The host was absolutely phenomenal as far as giving advice as to what was in the area along with knowledge of his house and even sent information prior to check-in. "Everything was good except the bed mattress especially the bunk house were too hard and the pillows had no firmness. Maybe adding a foam topper and upgraded pillows would make a big difference. "

"We stayed for a few nights over the holidays. The space is a renovated antique barn with absolutely beautiful and rustic interior decoration. The bed was so comfy, we cooked a few meals in the apt as well, and enjoyed a lovely morning walk around the pond into the neighboring field/park they’ve cleared. Host was extremely responsive and easy to contact. We had a very lovely time!"

"Great location! Close to the main highway that most of the wineries are on, without being on the actual highway. Much lower volume of traffic. Besides, the closest wineries, Boundary Breaks, we probably my favorite of the weekend, and that is about three minutes away. "

"We used this as a halfway point to stay with family from Pennsylvania, New York and Ontario. We had 5 adults and 3 children ages 2 and under. The house had a great layout with the rooms far enough apart that the kids didn’t wake each other up through the night. The kitchen was also nice and open for family meals and games together. The host was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. The backyard was also a really nice space if the weather allows it. We would recommend this property! "

"This was a great space to have a large group (12)- we had plenty of options for sleeping, and a large living room if people preferred sleeping bags over bed mates. The outdoor space was perfect for winding down after a day of meetings, with options for conversation (fire pit, hot tub) or some solo time (running, walking on roads). It was only about 20 mins from Cornell, which was great for our group."

"Everything was exactly as described and hosts were easy to contact and quick to respond. The jacuzzi tub has a beautiful view and the kitchen was generously large! Driveway was plowed when it snowed (very helpful because it is long!) and the heated floors kept our feet warm on our winter trip."

"Casa Carmela is a beautiful home with a lovely beachfront and fantastic sunset views. Our group of 8 were comfortable and had plenty of room to gather for meals or games. It is convenient to both Auburn and Skaneateles. The house was well appointed and equipped. Owner was responsive and checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed. "

"The Paddock house was excellent for this business trip to Cornell University. Close to Campus and downtown. Charming, spacious property! Communication with Michael was easy and on time. Everything worked just fine. Highly recommended for writing retreats and family visit to Campus."

"We were visiting family in Trumansburg for Thanksgiving and needed extra room for our large party. This cottage worked out perfectly - it was plenty warm, the backyard and patio are private and lovely, and the cottage is spacious with helpful features (great buffet shelving near large dining table).
