"Had an amazing couple of nights at Schloss. The staff are so lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The decor is absolutely stunning. Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds and the spa is to die for. "First overnight stay at Carberry. We were kindly upgraded to a suite which was most impressive. Dinner in the Bistro was lovely. We asked for breaded fish rather than done in batter. No problem & it was extremely tasty. Relaxed atmosphere , friendly staff. A hidden gem."

"Quiet and peaceful. Property exactly as advertised with lovely small garden area and small field amongst trees out the back, with deer spotted one morning. Very clean, owner had thought of everything from small torches in drawers to cleaning materials in cupboards and spare lightbulbs if required. Property very warm, and within about 30-40 minutes drive of nearby Northumberland and Scottish Border places of interest to visit. Property only 2 miles over the Border from England. Welcome pack of biscuits, cakes and honey a nice touch and a pint of milk in the fridge. Tea, sugar and coffee pods available also if required.
