"Lovely hotel and full of character. We were expecting to stay in the main hotel but were out in the cottage annex which was slightly tired. It was a particularly cold night and the single glazed metal windows wouldn’t shut properly. Radiators were lukewarm and not adjustable. We needed the extra blanket on the bed! After a drink in the cosy bar with open fire our meal in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast the next morning was equally good. Would...
