"Very clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast is some sweet bread. They set out options for pillows from you to choose from. It's a healthy walking distance from Kyoto station with light luggage and the the Nishiki Market area but far enough that it's quiet. Front desk staff was nice. The kitchen and common area downstairs are clean and fine. There is one washer and one dryer and a clothesline on the roof. It seems like the management is still learning the ropes with this place so I want to...

"The room is larger than it looks on the photo. Our family of 4 has a lot of space to move about and even a living room /dining area. The location is walkable distance from Kyoto Station but do prepare a walk for a bit, but it's also quiet, good for resting after a day of touring /shopping."

Located in the heart of Kyoto's history Gion district, this Ryokan offered an authentic Japanese experience steeped in tradition and charm. "Very convenient location nearby Kyoto Station as well as a subway line. Environment is very clean, but the mattress is a bit too thin, making it slightly uncomfortable to sleep on"

"The room was a really good size. The building was clean and quiet. It was really nice to have laundry although it would be great if they provided a drying rack. This place is in a quieter neighborhood so definitely count on a lot of walking or using the bus to get around (the bus is very convenient and you can use your Suica card, just note that it's a flat rate of 230 regardless of how far you go). It would be nice to be able to use the balcony at this building but I guess the agreement with...

"Nice that it’s close to the Umekoji-Kyotonishi train station which is just 1 strain stop away from the main Kyoto station. I also like that the place is clean. Our beds are cleaned and neat everyday despite the mess we left from such a busy day outside the hotel. Thirdly, I like that the showers have very good water pressure. It’s just too bag that we didn’t get to see and use the public bath they have. "

"Very new and modern hotel. Firm comfortable beds, very nice bathroom, shower and soaking tub. Spacious room with lots of little extras. Great climate control. Fabulous Onsen, spotless. Several new restaurants on the street level inside the building. Great value when booked on the app here."
