"This is a a very beautiful ryokan. It is located about 10 minutes walk to downtown Kinnosaki. The meals were amazing and the whole property is so beautiful and calming. You can get unlimited drink's and snacks. They provide excellent service. On the last day, they helped us transfer our luggage to the Tourist Information place so we can still wander around the town before we catch our train. "

"I booked via expedia. My issues with this place are with EXPEDIA. Foreign Tourists please read: The listing did not clearly state that the room did not come with a bathroom OR that there was no shower in the building. Each floor has 1 male and 1 female washroom. The female washroom has 2 toilet stalls. There is no shower in the building. To bathe you must go next door and use the Amanohashidate Hotel's onsen. This onsen is amazing but it's inconvenient to have to go outside of your hotel to bathe. There is zero soundproofing in the room. You can hear and easily get disturbed by those opening their doors and walking/talking in the hallway. Each night I had to sleep using my noise cancelling headphones. There is no elevator. Be prepared to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. Access to Amanohashidate Hotel onsen was my favourite part of this trip. Overall the room and washroom were clean, and staff were kind, and they provided regular extra towels. But book only if your comfortable with the dorm/capsule style sharing of bathrooms and bring ear plugs"

"Lovey ryokan in a great location in Kinosaki onsen. Beautifully styled rooms. Excellent service and location. Peaceful and quiet and close to the station. Would recommend. Dinner and breakfast was delicious and a really great experience. "

"This has been one of our favourite rooms on our visit to Japan. It was stylish, clean and quite spacious. The bed was super comfy. The staff were gracious and were able to communicate well in English, which we appreciated."

"Great hotel close to the station. The staff is really amazing. The rooms are simple yet very good. Great Internet connection even for video calls. The free breakfast was just amazing (you can bring it up your room if you want) Just make sure not tk book a smoking room if you don't smoke like I did... But if you do, they have sprays that help with the smell!"
