"I love the character of old hotels and this one did not disappoint. Pros: we had hot water for showers, plenty of towels, a comfortable bed, two onsite restaurants to choose from, and two complimentary bottles of water in our room. We called for room service one night; they were friendly and fast. The food was excellent and the portion sizes were more than generous. I ordered the hummus and the tacos, both appetizers, and I had enough food to feed 4 people! My husband ordered the club sandwich and he, too, could have fed 4 people with the size sandwich and amount fries he got. Cons: the temperature could not be set. It was either heat or nothing. Spend the extra money if you want a room with a view or you’ll be disappointed looking out your window. We would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"Loved it! We were in town for 2 days for the Lions game. I used the Park Whiz app to get a parking space super close. Check-in was quick and easy. It was a short / easy walk to Solider Field as well. The room was very nice with a great view. We had a small kitchen and everything worked perfectly. I slept on the pull out couch and it was quite comfortable. We ate dinner at the restaurant downstairs. It was really good and affordable! The pool / hot tub was very clean and nice as well. Highly recommend!"

"We were given a welcome gift and two drinks vouchers to celebrate my birthday. Our room was very comfortable. Our only complaint was being able to clearly hear people's conversations outside the room at 4 am. "

"Tony deserves more than 5 stars! My son and I came to Chicago for the Detroit Lions game. We got to the hotel early, and Tony was able to set us up with a great deal on an early check in AND an upgrade to a room with an amazing view. We were able to warm up in the room before the game, and this small town guy got to see a skyline that I'll never forget. Our room was very clean. Parking was easy. Really liked the no-contact water dispenser on our floor. I'll be staying here again when I come back. Again, Tony rocked."
