"There is nothing fancy about the house, but it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen had all appliances, silverware, plates, pots that one might need and the location was close to a lot of good hiking and the VIC. It was great to have the kayaks and dock on the property -- Lake Clear Outlet is very peaceful without a lot of houses and the current/wind is more manageable than when you kayak on a big lake. We had one small problem with the diverter not working in the shower in the morning but...

"The cabin was a great cozy, retreat in the woods but still accessible to town. It was a short drive to get to spring skiing at Titus Mountain. The kitchen was stocked with all the amenities we needed for breakfast and dinner in. We hope to stay again in the warmer months to enjoy the rest of the property. "

"Tobias Place is a wonderful classic home with plenty of space for a three generation ski vacation. It is located within walking distance of downtown Lake Placid and a short ride to Whiteface Mountain. The downstairs has a modernized kitchen along with a large dining room and a very large classic family room. We had a wonderful week. "
