Very much appreciated in the winter months ! The hotel is in a convenient position with a short downward walk into Funchal and also benefits from certain areas within The Savoy Palace . Breakfasts delicious .. I could not fault this hotel and would definitely recommend. We will return ! "

"Lovely position next to the cable car entrance. Beautiful gardens and the original part of the Quinta is lovely and full of antiques. The bedroom furnishings are a little tired and could benefit from tea & coffee making facilities. The pool area could also do with some redecoration/updating. Breakfast was plentiful with a varied buffet selection"
