"Overall a good stay. Clean room, comfortable bed although no fitted sheets, nice balcony to enjoy the ocean view. Hotel a bit dated but located on the boardwalk. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Only issue was the drain smells - sink needs a plug. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend. "

"It is a hidden gem in the heart of Centro, Merida. The location is perfect—you can walk to everything. The price is affordable. Sophia and the other staff are excellent and friendly. However, two angels, Gabriel and Daniel, went above and beyond their jobs to make me feel comfortable and at home. I recommend Hotel Santa Maria to anyone visiting Merida.
