"Stayed here with my husband for a few days to not only visit Big Bend, but Marfa, Ft Davis for stargazing, and experience the surrounding areas. This hotel, with an adobe/western vibe, offered a complimentary continental breakfast daily which was a good start to our exploring days. Its location in the nice little town of Alpine gave us more options of grocery shopping, etc than the other smaller, tho closer towns, to Big Bend. "

"The room was clean and perfect for a one night stay. Busy hotel (right off freeway) but it was fairly quiet throughout the night on the 3rd floor. Lady at desk was friendly and had a smile. Only problem right now is elevator does not work, not a problem for me but I can see how that could be a dealbreaker for a disabled person. All in all nothing out of the ordinary. "
