"Stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. It was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was really good. It was also relatively quiet considering it’s right on the main road and the subway runs under it. But If you are staying in the area I would highly recommend but if you are travelling to manhattan it takes a long time on the train!"

"The hotel was adequate, not fancy, in a rather unattractive neighborhood with warning signs in the parking lot making it appear the area was unsafe. Breakfast was a good value."

"We arrived at 1 am, thanks to terrible traffic. Fernando was at the desk and he was wonderful - warm and welcoming. Exactly what I needed. Our bed was fantastic. And I'm amazed that we couldn't hear the highway from our room, given the proximity. But we couldn't! "

Great little hotel and location

"My cousin and I have been staying at the St.James every year for the past 12 years. The location is ideal, the front desk people are friendly and always recognize us even though we only come once a year and the rooms are good size. We love it."
