"Fantastic views of the Smith River from the hot tub and dining room and which was just a staircase away! Liked having an EV charger and a clean house with a kitchen that had plenty of utensils, plates and cookware (we would have loved a kettle!). Please fix the fishing rod situation as only 1 was in working order out of the 6. It was also extremely cold in the house when we arrived and the water had not been turned on."

"The hotel is showing its age but met our needs just fine. The reception staff tried very hard to be excellent. There is a small but visible "homeless" population wandering around at the first level where the cark park was. The neighborhood was also aging, but there were some restaurants open that were not too far away after dark."

"This hotel is excellent, very clean, best staff, very helpful, I can’t say enough good things! The restaurant is very good, Thursday pasta night is not only fun it’s the best tasting food! Highly recommend! "

"The motel itself was great. The neighborhood it's located in was probably great years ago, but there are a lot of homeless people all over, even in the housing areas. It was not a problem, but you feel like you have to be on alert at all times. Our business was far away from all that. On a positive note the motel facilities were excellent. Pool, gym, and were largely unused by anybody, but we checked them out, and they were very clean and modern. "

"This Studio 6 had a 2 burner induction stove a mid size fridge freezer, microwave toaster coffee maker and was comfortable. Don't recommend the studio 6 south in Bakersfield though."
