"Stunning Hotel, great location by the train station, nice walk into town. Upgraded to suite, fantastic room - No hairdryer though, called down a few times and no answer from reception which was inconvenient for Mrs - But they full of apologies when we walked down to explain and sure enough hairdryer in room for when we got back to room later. Good bar, great service and nice atmosphere."

"Very comfortable and cosy. Restaurant had excellent food and service was good. Set meal was reasonably priced. Google cast facility on the room TV meant I was able to watch Netflix via my phone. Room was in a separate block from the reception etc but this did not detract. This was my first stay in the Hotel du Vin chain and won't be my last."

"The staff are all freindly and helpful the ros are clean and tidy the breakfast was good and plenty of it .the bathroom in room hasnt got an extractor when i had a shower everything was covered in condensation also full toilet need upgrading and toulet bowl needs bleach amd a good scrub "

"Being from out of the country, I was delighted to be welcomed so warmly and accommodated with an extra night after my last minute request. The food was excellent and it was lovely hearing the Minster chime throughout the day. Would definitely stay here again if I get to visit York again."
