"My friend and I stayed with you 2 years ago. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean. We had a twin room with lovely bedding and very comfortable beds, although the neds did squeak when getting on and off of them. It would be useful to have another hook in the shower room to hang the wet towels. One is fine for one towel, but not two. Breakfast was good, especially the sourdough bread."

"Being from out of the country, I was delighted to be welcomed so warmly and accommodated with an extra night after my last minute request. The food was excellent and it was lovely hearing the Minster chime throughout the day. Would definitely stay here again if I get to visit York again."

"Room was good size with tea & coffee making facilities and modern decor and very clean. It was also very quiet in the evening although the hotel was quite busy apparently. Overall we enjoyed the stay at the hotel and will probably use again when we visit Leeds. (subject to price)"

"The bed was a bit too soft and a double is not quite big enough for two large people. We both rolled into the middle and woke up sore. Otherwise it was ok."
